**VISITING US DURING WANSFORD BRIDGE REPAIRS WHEN APPROACHING FROM A1 SOUTH OR A47**

 

The essential bridge repairs required for Wansford Bridge are now underway restricting access into the village directly from the A47 and usual Wansford exit from the A1 southbound.  We understand that it is hoped these repairs will be completed mid October 2023.

 

However there is a simple quick alternative route that can be used to access the village and enjoy our wonderful Summer Menu and drinks we have on offer in a delightful country setting.

The easiest route to use is as follows and will add little to no time to your journey:-

 

From A1 southbound after the A47,  exit left signposted Stibbington  Village

At the crossroads turn Right onto Old Great North Rd

Take first right hand turning onto New Lane (this will take you back over the top of the A1)

Follow road to the end to T-Junction. then turn Right onto Elton Rd

You are now approaching Wansford where the Paper Mills will be found on the left hand side.
